Apply for a Position on a Board or Commission

To apply for a position on any Board or Commission, send an e-mail to the Town Clerk at clerk@leesburgva.gov.  In the e-mail just express your interest in the specific Board or Commission in which you have interest, and it's best if you include a resume.  The resume doesn't have to be focused on the particular Board or Commission, it just needs to be relatively current.

Change Parking on My Street

If you have a parking problem on your street or in your neighborhood, the best way to bring about a resolution, whatever it might be, is to visit a Standing Residential Traffic Committee (SRTC) and talk during the petitioners section (early in the meeting).  The SRTC meetings are the first Monday of the month in the lower level of the Town Hall (25 West Market St.), and a major part of their mission is to help people like you solve parking problems in residential neighborhoods.  Their Web site is here.

Complain about Speeders

If you have a problem with a single speeder, call the Police Department at 703-771-4500, or e-mail them at policeadmin@leesburgva.gov (e-mail not monitored 24 hours a day).  If it’s a general speeding problem on your street or in your neighborhood, the best way to bring about a resolution, whatever it might be, is to visit a Standing Residential Traffic Committee (SRTC) and talk during the petitioners section (early in the meeting).  The SRTC meetings are the first Monday of the month in the lower level of the Town Hall (25 West Market St.), and a major part of their mission is to help people like you solve parking problems in residential neighborhoods.  Their Web site is here.
